About The Role: 

The Workforce and Rostering Coordinator will be responsible for optimising our workforce through best use of staff to deliver client support in our Accommodation Services. You will be responsible for the rostering management of our metropolitan sites. The role will be based at our Netley head office working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and you will be a part of the Human Resources team. 

About You: 

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in coordinating a rostering function for a large organisation. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders. You must have the ability to think logically, interpret, analyse, and review critical information and issues and provide clear and succinct solutions. You will be proactive, use your initiative and have thorough attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in the use of MS office at an Intermediate level is required. 

Duties include:

  • Working in collaboration with Accommodation Services in the creation, editing and maintenance of site rosters
  • Ongoing adjustment and prioritisation of Client Coach schedules in response to any changes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement that optimise Orana’s workforce through timely, effective, and efficient rostering practices
  • Establishment, review and implementation of innovative rostering practices, guidelines, rules, and processes
  • Ensure that our Accommodation Services sites operate within their workforce and roster of care benchmarks
  • Ensure the scheduling of staff meet the requirements of the relevant Enterprise Agreement, Award and National Employment Standards

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in coordinating a rostering function and rostering experience
  • Exceptional customer service, problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the square
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Ability to think logically, interpret, assess, analyse, and review critical information and issues and provide clear and succinct solutions
  • Ability to exercise initiative, be proactive and have a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Thorough attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of workforce rostering requirements or previous experience in health care/aged care/disability will be highly regarded
  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Check
  • Hold a current National Police Check/Clearance
