About The Role: 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant will be a key member of the executive support team. You will provide a high level of professional administrative and executive support to the CEO and Executive Management team of Orana. You will be responsible for board secretarial duties and provide daily assistance to the CEO with the planning, prioritisation, and management of all tasks with a high degree of confidentiality. 

About You: 

As a key member of the team, you will be professionally presented, highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills and able to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner with a high level of computer literacy. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate meetings, functions and travel for the CEO and Executive team
  • Organise board and committee meetings
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and members of the community on the behalf of the CEO
  • Attend and organise functions and events as required
  • Provide administrative and general support for internal and external management meetings

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant to senior management
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business or Administration
  • Qualification or experience in corporate governance
  • An intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • National Police Check, or willing obtain
  • Previous experience and an understanding of Board governance would be highly advantageous
  • An understanding of disability services would be an advantage, but not essential
