Orana helps connect you to your community, make new friends, and, more importantly, supports you in achieving your goals.
We provide a range of social programs, activities, experiences, and short breaks where you can meet new people, build relationships, connect to the community, and develop and practice life skills. Our social and recreational activities are for individuals and small groups with varying support needs.
Our experienced team is available to support you in trying something new and engaging with your community, to live life how you would like.
No experience is necessary for any Community Options programs; however, you will need NDIS funding or be able to self-fund.
As well as the supports listed below, Orana is looking to expand the Community Options supports provided to include things such as arts, fitness, online gaming, social groups, day trips, workshops, and more – so keep an eye out for new Community Options supports coming soon!

Life Education allows participants to develop skills to live as independently as possible. The Life Education program aims to develop everyday skills to build confidence and independence. Life Education provides individual programs for post-secondary students and adults in basic literacy and numeracy, personal and life skills development, work skills, community access, and recreation and leisure activities. We offer a range of learning and development activities to build an individual’s capacity to manage day-to-day life through developing their knowledge, skills and networks of support. Life skills development focuses on daily activities, communication and social skills, and problem-solving. We also support family members and carers to implement strategies to manage challenging issues such as social skills, dealing with emotions, relationships, and sexuality. The Life Education program is based in Ridleyton and runs Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.
